• What a Witty Boy!

  I can’t remember I have written in my blog or not. A friend of mine has two boys. One night over the dinning table the younger one asked his mother (my friend), “Mom, why did you have my brother before me?”

  My friend and her husband were tongue-tied by the question. While they were busy in figuring out an answer, the bigger boy said to his younger brother, “It was because when I was about to come out of Mom, you were sound asleep.”

  My friend and her husband felt relieved by this answer. After several minutes, the younger one turned to his brother and asked, “Why didn’t you wake me up at that moment?”

  My friend and her husband could not pretend they were eating any more but bursted into laughters.

  Next time when I met this friend again, I asked her if there were any new jokes happened to her boys. She said that her little boy asked her to have a baby sister. He needed only a baby sister not a baby brother. My friend waited for a moment and then carried on, “It is because he wants a younger sibling and to be a big brother but he is the only younger brother at home. His place cannot be challenged.”

  What a witty boy!
