I like cooking and therefore I enjoy Ratatouille very much. Before I went to the cinema, I read a critic of this film. The critic basically criticised that the film lacked imagination and wondered who would enjoy a dinner cooked by a rat.

Cooking requires passion and imagination. Cartoon also requires passion and imagination. Well, a cartoon about cooking must be full of passion and imagination. If you ask me, I will tell you that you should be full of passion and utilise your imagination when you watch a cartoon about cooking like Ratatouille. And I think the production team has really done great job to use computer graphic to materialise the texture of hair and skin. The characters are all very vivid.

Sandra and I read the critic on the plane back to Hong Kong. We found that the critic was unreliable. It was because we found that it was not the film lack of imagination. It was the writer who lacked passion and imagination. What a pity! A person without passion and imagination must find life dull and indifferent. What a miserable person!
